A’ Level Results for 2015:

The Voyager Academy Sixth Form students have achieved the Academy’s best A –C rate with 70.4% achieving these grades. This continues the trend for improving results for their Sixth Form students. The overall A*-E pass rate is 98.2%.

Daniel Taylor, Director of Sixth Form said, “We are delighted that our students continue to achieve consistently high A Level results, and we have a huge sense of pride for them all. An A*-C pass rate of 70.4 per cent is a fantastic achievement.”

“Our Sixth Form has been through a period of growth, and to continue to improve standards in that time is excellent. Next year we will be welcoming even more students to our popular Sixth Form, and we look set to continue these levels of success.”

“We are delighted students have achieved well across a range of subjects and have been able to obtain places at a broadening range of universities, reading an increasing variety of degree courses. We are especially pleased also as the results reaffirm the findings from the 2014 Ofsted report that the Sixth Form at The Voyager Academy is good with students making good progress as the result of good teaching.”

In 2015 19% of students achieved 5 A*-C including English and Maths. In English 49% of students made 3 Levels of Progress and in Maths 38% made 3 Levels of Progress.
