What will I have to do for assessment
Performing 30% You will need to perform 1 solo piece and 1 ensemble piece to at least grade 3 standard.
Composing 30% You will need to compose 2 pieces by yourself.
 
Listening 40%
A 90 minute written paper with questions that ask you to listen to music and answer questions on it.

What will I study in lessons?

You will be looking at certain pieces of music set by the exam board under the following categories. These pieces will be the basis of your compositions and will form the content for the written paper.
